Heading to Reno

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. Ours was quiet and relaxing. We are packing up and getting ready to go to Molly and Lances for our turn at baby watch. Thanks to Lance's mom Marilyn they have been well taken care of. Molly's lucky to have such a nice mother-in-law. Maybe by the time we get to Reno on Friday things will have progressed for Molly. We'll keep our fingers crossed. We are looking forward to spending time with all of them. Hopefully we can distract Molly enough to keep her mind off how hot she is. Grandpa is looking forward to playing with Isaac and I'm looking forward to snuggling and cuddling him. Don't worry there will plenty of everything left for Mark when he arrives. We are also getting excited about picking up Craig at BYU-I for the summer and fall. It will be good to have him home for a while. Looking forward to all the fun times ahead.
I'll write more after Mark makes his entrance.

Wow! I can't believe how the time has flown by since I last attempted this. Enough that I almost forgot how to get on the blog at all. Molly...don't laugh, I figured it out myself.
I have to admit I enjoy reading the messages and I have even looked in on a few of Molly's contacts and have thoroughly enjoyed hearing how much all of her friend's have grown up and gotten married and some have even started families. Wow that really makes me feel old.
What has been happening with the Maxwell's....Well not a lot. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Molly and Lance's new baby. Have you heard? His name is Mark. :) Of course Molly is the most anxious at this time. Not much longer.
I've planted our garden and most everything is coming up. I've even replanted lettuce for the second time. It was so good the first time around I had to have more.
Larry has been working hard around the place. The lawn needs mowing at least once a week at this time of year. We have actually had sun for a whole week in a row. I think we just skipped Spring and went straight to summer.
Craig is doing well at school (BYU-I). We will be picking him up July 18th to bring him home. It will be good to have him home for a while.
Andrew is back from Iraq. Amanda is working hard and trying to get some camping in.
I'm keeping busy with work and garden stuff. Can't wait to get produce to start canning. I know don't get the cart before the horse. Oh...and I just got called to be Relief Society President in the Branch so that should keep me out of trouble. Ha! I still want to get some pictures posted but I need a little more time to figure that one out. Maybe next time.

II'm still trying to work this blog thing out. It's not quite as easy as the younger generation says it is. But I will prevail. Molly... be prepared when I call you next time to help me out. I've enjoyed seeing other blogs especially the ones about Isaac, Molly and Lance. Great job. In the meantime I've been taking pictures with my new camera so I can put them on the blog. Hoping for better entries in the future. To all friends and family that might look in on this blog. Larry and I send you a big hello and hope you are healthy and happy.

Well.... Molly, I did it all by myself (well...maybe with a little bit of help from Dad)
Now all I have to do is think of something to say. I'm excited about getting started and making new postings.
The temperature today is 92 degrees at 12:30. Yesterday was 103 degrees.
As my cute little grandson says....HOT!
The garden and flowers are all watered and growing before our eyes. Hopefully they won't burn in this unusal heat wave.
