I'm on a roll.....two entries in 1 month. Life is progressing along it's up and down track. Life with 5 extra people is getting more workable. We still need to tweek a few areas. Isaac, Mark and Nathan are just as cute as ever. They've taken a couple of trips with Molly and Lance. They've been to the Oregon coast, camping at Suttle Lake and a trip to Bend to help Corey celebrate her birthday. Still no bites for any employment for Lance...but we remain hopeful that something will become available soon. It's a tough job market out there. We've been working on getting our yearly canning done. So far with the help of Larry and Molly we have canned tomatoes, green beans, pears, crabapple jelly, strawberry jam and tuna. Not a bad start. Still a few more things that need to be canned. Hopefully the weather holds out for a few weeks for more tomatoes to ripen. News from Cariag and Megan is good. Megan has started her student teaching at Rigby Middle and High school. Craig passed his EMT-Basic class and passed his National test. They have enjoyed eating all the fresh vegetables from their garden. They are first time farmers and have done a great job of growing vegetables. Andrew and Danielle and Olivia are doing well. Andrew now has a job that is keeping him state side. He is still real busy though. Danielle is enjoying being a Mom and Andrew loves his little girl. Olivia is a sweet little angel and is the delight of all her family in California. We can't wait until we can get back down and visit with them. Amanda is doing a lot of child care to help with her finances and plans to go back to school in the fall. She is flying solo these days. Her and Mike have gone their separate ways. It's been a rough go but hopefully life for her will settle down so she can focus on school and getting her life back together.
Larry and I are doing ok. I'm working and he is holding down the fort both inside and out.
I'm hoping Molly will help me with some pictures so I can post some for Grandma and Grandpa Simmons.

This post will probably shock anyone who is an avid follower of my blog. What did it say that my last post was? 5 or 8 months ago. Gee....time just flies when you have so much to say. Well I have something to talk about now!
Molly, Lance and the boys (Isaac, Mark and Nathan) moved in with us about mid June. I always thought the house was small, but now I know it is. After some adjusting and stuffy things here and there everyone is settled in. The boys have hit the floor running since they got here. Papa can't even look at his boots without both little boys running to get their shoes on and try to be all ready when Papa goes outside. They came as pale little house boys and have become rugged little outside boys. Isaac can now ride his bike all over the place. Mark sits on the bike and runs it with his little legs almost as fast as Isaac peddles. Isaac is getting quite a tan and Mark is too accept his is red, while Isaacs is brown. Uncle Craig would be very proud of their little farmer tans. Nathan is flapping with wings in preparation for when he can finally get on a bike himself. He is sitting up all by himself and can now crawl, or squirm over to just about anything he wants to get too. Mark is not so sure he likes having to share his toys with him. I think I've seen a little smile come unto Isaacs face when Nathan frustrates Mark. Aww....payback is sweet sometimes.
The boys love playing outside. They help Papa in the garden. Isaac is allowed to pull weeds. Mark isn't. He just gets to enthused with pulling and everything comes out. Good and bad. They help him with watering and when Molly and Lance are out weeding or gathering they head right for the Blueberries. Between them and the birds there aren't many left for muffins. They helped Papa pick apples last week and then helped Mom and Papa make applesauce. Molly and Lance have ventured out a little. They went to Shahalie Falls and took the boys to a park in town. Isaac now likes going down the slide again. All the fresh air has helped his appetite. He is eating almost more than Mark eats. Molly said the other day that she hasn't seen him eat like he does now since he was really little. No job offers for Lance yet. Molly is working on getting her Photography business up and running. Lance likes to help her with that. Keep him in your prayers for an engineering job.
I've been working full time and don't get to be at home during the day. I haven't quite figured out a morning schedule that will get me in and out of the shower before 1 or 2 or 3 of the boys are awake and wanting in the bathroom. Goodness I have forgotten how loud and full of energy little boys can be. But I love it. If any of you are thinking of investing any money....invest in hearing aids I'm sure Larry and I are going to need some by the time the boys leave. Just kidding Molly.
Well if I tell eveything this time I won't have anything to talk about the next time. So....Come see us. Molly is lonely and they need to get out of the house and mingle with someone her age and not her parents.
